SUMMARY

The research group in health care, composed entirely by nurses, has continued to work on its research lines, mainly in the area of critical care patients and pediatric patients. In 2014, the group is completing the analysis of data and preparing papers to publicate the results of two projects, both related to the quality of life of these patients.

The aim of the first project is to assess the health-related quality of life of mechanically ventilated patients admitted in an ICU and its relation to nursing-sensitive outcomes. The aim of the second one is to know the quality of life and nursing care needs of children with cancer and their caregivers. Both are prospective cohort studies.
